Modernizing a Community Organization’s Brand, Events, and Digital Presence
Community Council of Greater Dallas
Services: Event Branding, Graphic Design, Annual Report Development, Program Branding, Website Development
The Challenge
The Community Council of Greater Dallas is a nonprofit organization working to improve quality of life by alleviating poverty, fostering independence and wellness, and connecting individuals and families with needed resources.
As the organization continued to expand its programs and community impact, it needed more cohesive and modern marketing materials to support major events, fundraising efforts, organizational reporting, and new initiatives. The challenge was to strengthen the Council’s visual communications while creating distinct materials for individual programs and events without losing consistency across the broader organization.
The Solution
Team EMILY began by providing graphic design and event branding support for two of the Community Council’s signature initiatives: the Annual Founders Awards and the 2025 Health Access Summit.
Our team developed and coordinated creative materials for each event and designed the organization’s comprehensive 24-page annual report, giving the Council a polished way to communicate its work, impact, and priorities to stakeholders and supporters.
The work established a stronger visual foundation for the organization while providing flexible creative support across events, fundraising communications, and organizational materials.
Expanding the Partnership
Following the success of the initial projects, the Community Council returned to Team EMILY to support additional initiatives.
In 2026, our team developed branding for the Council’s new Bridge Builders program and began redesigning its website. The website project moves the organization from its previous platform to a modern Wix site designed to provide a more attractive and effective digital experience for the communities it serves.
The Impact
The Community Council of Greater Dallas now has a more cohesive and professional approach to communicating its programs, events, and community impact.
Updated event branding and marketing materials strengthened the presentation of major initiatives, while the annual report provided a comprehensive resource for communicating the organization’s work to stakeholders and supporters. The Bridge Builders identity also gave a new program its own recognizable foundation while remaining connected to the larger organization.
With the website redesign underway, the partnership continues to build a stronger digital and visual foundation that supports the Community Council’s ability to engage the Dallas community, communicate its impact, and advance its fundraising and service goals.
