Our Name is More Than a Name.
In the middle of the American Revolution, sixteen-year-old Emily Geiger refused to stand on the sidelines. Trusted with a secret message from General Nathan Greene, Emily set out alone on horseback across enemy-held territory in South Carolina. She was captured. She was questioned. And rather than let the message fall into enemy hands, she memorized it and ate the evidence. Released with nothing left to find, Emily continued her journey and completed her mission. One young woman. One important message. The courage to make sure it got through.
